RF Motorsport is proud to let you all know that Top Fuel racer Chris Andrews (U.K) is about to race for RFM at the FIA European Drag Race Championship Round 3 in Finland. Chris is known for racing the Lucas Oils dragster in previous years and once again Lucas Oils is on his side and supporting him taking on a new adventure in last years championship winning car.
"Driving the car that won the European Championship will be a true test of my driving ability and hopefully I can do the crew and Rune proud by getting a few round wins" says Chris in a comment.
With a personal best ET at 4.12 and 287 mph in speed we are sure Chris is a strong driver with the ability and know how to race our dragster fast and hopefully to some victories.
Polly Magnussen of the RF Motorsport management is looking forward to working with Chris, but is also telling that first of all this is a one off deal in Finland to see how things work out, for both parties. After that a decision will be made for the last 3 rounds the championship.
"I am looking forward to this chapter in my career as a driver, it is going to be interesting to work with RF Motorsport and see how another team manage their program".
Chris will bring along his tuner Eddie Corr to Finland, but he will not be tuning the car since this is done by RFM owner Rune Fjeld, but he will be working with Chris on the driving so he can fit in as quickly as possible with RFM. The rest of the crew will be the same as always on this car, Steffen Korsmo, Leon Bienek, Luke Shakeshaft,Kevin Bisiker, Lindsey Moles and Rune Fjeld.
Feel free to contact RF Motorsport or Chris Andrews if you have any questions!
